Micro Cooling Concepts' employees developed a dual mode seeker concept for the US Army Ballistic Missile Defense Organization in the 1991-1992 time frame. Future Technologies, Inc. (FTI) and MetroLaser, Inc. were teammates in the development, with FTI designing the Ka-band system, and MetroLaser designing the IR sensor. microVection employees were involved with the thermofluid design of the thermal management system.
